What is RI Soul Care...

In 2022, God gave a vision for multiple churches in Rhode Island to come together. This event connected 300 attendees from over 25 churches and ministries. We gathered together to hear teaching & powerful testimonies on healing and overcoming shame with Jesus. Many resources were available for the attendees through partnerships fostered with local ministries.

The event was only the beginning… The Lord said there would be a ripple effect from this event and there has been! God joined together a team of women that would become RI Soul Care, He certainly knit this team of imperfect souls together.

Through His tender care and leading the Lord revealed a truth: God is like a heart surgeon repairing a blockage. In our brokenness, the blood of Jesus cannot flow freely because our hurt, our sin, our disappointments create barriers or blockages that hinder this movement. But when we release the broken, non-functional pieces, His blood flows freely, healing us and making us whole. It takes time, but eventually the hurt won’t be recognizable. The scar may still be there, but it does not impact us anymore. Instead it is a testimony of our God, the healer, the deliverer, the restorer. The “surgery” is complete. RISC desires to help women walk in being healed, whole, and secure in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As we consider the future, we are praying through every step and plan. The Lord is training us to offer workshops, retreats, and other instructional prayer classes for ministry in RI.

What we believe...

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. Psalm 12:6, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood, His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. Isaiah 7:14, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 9:1-11, Colossians 1:19-20, 1 Corinthians 6:14

We believe for the salvation of lost and sinful people, confession of Jesus’ Lordship with your mouth and belief in your heart of his resurrection is essential. Romans 3:23, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-10, 1 Corinthians 6:14

We believe Jesus Christ sends the Holy Spirit to dwell in His followers. The Holy Spirit empowers believers with gifts, convicts, guides, comforts, counsels, and leads them in the Truth. 1 Corinthians 3:16, John 14:26, Ephesians 3:16, John 16:7-8, 12-14

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, the global Church. John 17:21-23, Acts 4:32, Galatians 3:28
